I've written my first book - and it's rather personal - it's a true account of what happened when one man went looking for a new girlfriend.

That man is me. I think I’m normal, not special, and not asking too much.

Entering the dating scene in my late fifties, my confidence was low, not knowing if anyone would find me attractive, let alone want me as a boyfriend.

For decades, my sex life had been infrequent, and after thirty years of marriage, had ground to a halt. Separation and divorce meant I was free to go out and find the perfect emotional, intimate, loving, and sex-filled, relationship that I had dreamed of for years.

The lady I seek is out there somewhere, I’m sure of it, but the journey to find her took me into the orbit of numerous wonderful, interesting women. In some cases, they were fabulous, some were desperate, others screwed up, and a good few knowing exactly what they wanted and used me to get it.

What happened next was unexpected. Coffees led to dates, and dates led to sex. I arrived on the scene with limited experience, and the usual questions and self-doubts.

The women I met arrived with theirs. I’ve changed their names, and my own, but everything else is based on events and experiences that took place.

I didn’t set out to have sex with a whole load of different women, but that’s exactly what happened.
